Real life user feedback from HER (me) with the hope that my wild thoughts can turn into wow results.
I can't help but have an opinion or idea.
It used to be my job to notice what works, what doesn't, and what could be better.
Now I do it for FUN!!!
Sharing is Caring.
You should always share candy, especially if you “CARE-A-LOT” and have gummy BEARS.
What is this?
HER feedback.
“use HER feedback” is a riff on “user feedback.”
The user is HER — me.
The feedback is my real-life experience, opinions, reactions, recommendations, rants, and observations about the products, services, experiences, and media that I actually engage / encounter.
It has always been in my nature to think about how something could be used or modified to make something better. Now I’m selfishly using social media as an outlet to share my feedback on anything and everything.
Feedback can be solicited or unsolicited, it can also be given in multiple ways - through reviews, rants, recommendations, or praise.
It is always given with positive intent because I care and I am sharing because I want to help make things better.
Who is HER?
I am a middle-aged wife and mom who recently left her (almost) 20-year corporate career to stay alive, both literally and metaphorically speaking.
I don’t think or expect anyone to care what I think.
If nobody reads this or watches any of my videos, I’m completely OK with that.
If someone does, I’m completely OK with that too.
But I have worked across retail, merchandising, marketing, customer experience, product management, and technology - which has given me 360° perspective on how businesses create experiences for their customers.
And - I was born different … and spicy.
I’m not shy.
I think differently.
and most importantly … I always ask “why”?
Why does she do this?
I really am just doing this for fun and sharing because - why not?
Working full time as a caregiver and corporate employee was no longer sustainable.
More importantly - I wanted to be better.
A better mom.
A better me.
Life is too short. Time and energy are precious - you only have so much of both to give.
Being better starts with giving ME to the right people.
How is this making me better?
Caregiving is hard and I really did love my career in customer experience, product management, and marketing.
I need an outlet. And a distraction.
So … I’m doing this for me.
For fun.
For therapeutic purposes.
And because apparently I have opinions about everything.
TMI
Neuro-Spicy: I am not officially diagnosed but my kids are, and as they say “apples don’t fall far from trees”. After a lot of TikToks and Instagram Reels, I can also say “there were signs” … more than I care to admit. I consider myself to be AuDHD but feel the need (like with horoscopes) to clarify that I’m also “ADHD rising” because I'm definitely more ADHD than autistic, although who knows if that's actually just the added OCD or dyslexia and whatever it is called when someone brain hates numbers.
Retired Athlete: I grew up playing any and every sport possible (again there were signs). My experiences playing basketball in high school and college were not easy, but they shaped / conditioned me into the person I needed to be. However after hurting my “good” knee and with my immense caregiving responsibilities, I limit my exposure to risk of injury as much as possible. I do, however, indulge in mountain biking and downhill skiing with my son.
Mom of Multiples: This is definitely a future story time, but I was lucky enough to be 1 in a million to have spontaneous identical triplets boys. Due to complications from growth restriction, they were evicted at 28 weeks. The littlest (1 lb 7 oz) was in the NICU for over 100 days, the strongest suffered a brain bleed that clotted, and the biggest had diaper rash pretty bad … once.
Disability & Caregiving: All of my children have the same “source code” which includes neuro-spicy genes from both their parents, but only two of the boys have life long disabilities due to their birth complications. The list of diagnoses and conditions we manage include - autism, ADHD, anxiety, Crohn’s disease, EOE, hydrocephalus / VP shunt, cerebral palsy, scoliosis, and hypospadias.
Corporate: I've spent my career in retail and digital experience, with a true 360° perspective across merchandising, marketing, customer experience, and technology. In other words, I've spent a couple of decades being paid to notice what works, what doesn't, and what could be better.
Crafty: I have absolutely loved any and all crafts my entire life, even as a child. I think I’ve tried at least every craft at least once. Unfortunately due to my limited or non-existent free time, my crafting energy is now limited to only household and domestic related projects. Social Media has been a nice way for me to live vicariously through others crafting adventures.
Perimenopause: Being middle aged and now entering into the perimenopausal phase of life has been mind blowing. I wish more people would talk about it because WTF is happening to me?!? I have lots more to say about this but will save it for later.
Customer: I buy and use lots of stuff, therefore have identified a LOT of opportunities but also have lots of tips/tricks and recommendations.

Have something you want me to try, review, investigate, overthink, or have an opinion about?
I’m open to requests and recommendations but be prepared to receive honest, uncompensated, and balanced insights.
